Bowled over the opposition
The U13's Cricket team have been successful in the first stages of the Big Blast cricket tournament run by Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. The team played against Nottingham Academy and Bluecoat Aspley.
The team played Nottingham Academy in the first fixture, where the score finished 46 - 19 to Nottingham Free School.
The next fixture was against Bluecoat Aspley, who had just won their first fixture by 40 runs. Bluecoat batted first and achieved a respectable 43 runs. Nottingham Free School played extremely well with Hussain Wali taking crucial wickets early on and Oliver Hale hitting two 6's in the final innings to secure a 51-43 victory and securing our place in the final on the 17th of July.
