Welcome to Student Leadership
- The Nottingham Free School student leadership team has representatives from each and every tutor group in the school.
- In each year group, tutor groups represent one of our four 'houses' - Clough, Hawksley, Potter and Torvill.
- Student leaders, therefore, also represent one of the four 'houses', and support with inter-house competitions and events.
- Student leaders in years 7 to 13 are identified by wearing Student Leadership badges.
- They are seen as role models in their everyday interactions both inside and outside of school and they take a collective responsibility to protect the rights of other children in the school.
- To be on the school leadership team, these students have demonstrated an impeccable behaviour record, strong attendance and are working hard alongside their teachers to make sure that Nottingham Free School is a safe, happy and welcoming environment for all.
Ruby Truman is the current Student President at Nottingham Free School:
"As the Student President at Nottingham Free School, I aim to provide a means whereby students can express their voices and create opportunities for them to develop lifelong skills."
