At Nottingham Free School, we know how important it is in a child’s personal development to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet, not only to maintain and improve their health but also to promote a healthy lifestyle for later on in life.
Hot and cold food options are available at break and lunch times.
Aspens is the company chosen by Nottingham Free School to provide the meal service to our students. They specialise in providing catering to schools and colleges across the country.
No cash is taken at the till. Students need to top up their dinner account using the cash box or by paying online via ParentPay. We operate a fingerprint system to operate the cash box and till.
Food allergies and intolerances
We already cater for students with various food allergies, intolerances and religious beliefs, so it is important that our students let us know about any allergies or intolerances etc. that they may have so that our catering team can advise them on their meal choice.
All of our allergen information is available on-site to comply with the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulations launched in December 2014 and all of our catering team have undergone training to incorporate this legislation.
