Nottingham Free School Students Celebrate GCSE Success

Head of Year 11, Natasha Harmer-Weston, said, “We are so very proud of how well our children have fared in their first formal exams at our school. Every member of staff at Nottingham Free School wishes to congratulate our Year 11 students on their GCSE results. Whilst fantastic to see so many students receive well-deserved results, it is more heart-warming to witness their transformation into amazing young people that are ready for post-16 education or training.”

Deputy Head (Academic), Rebecca Farnie, stated, “What is particularly pleasing is seeing how these grades allow our students to move onto the next steps in their exciting journeys. We are equally thrilled that a strong number of students are staying with us at Nottingham Free School Sixth Form next year."

High Achieving students of note include Cara Flynn with an amazing nine grade 9s, Maya Scott with eight grade 9s and two grade 8s and Max Worth with six grade 9s and three grade 8s. Cara, Maya and Max were quick to thank all their teachers, for their great support and commitment during their time at Nottingham Free School.
