WAR Room Launch
During tutor time and lunchtimes, students in years 9 and 10 will be able to take advantage of a dedicated room for maths and English, called the WAR (Work Action Result) room. Students should refer to the timetables on the door, or their tutor presentations for when their directed sessions are for use during tutor time.
The WAR room is also available during lunchtimes for students to voluntarily seek support, or if suggested they attend by their teacher. There will be a maths and English teacher available to support them, however students should attend knowing what they would like to achieve in the time they are there and use the time wisely; this could be a consolidation of classwork or support with homework. Students will also be able to earn house points for attendance.
