Free books for Year 7!
As part of our drive to make reading an essential and enjoyable part of our students' lives, we have given each Year 7 student a free book this week. They were able to make their choice from a selection which included Wonder by RJ Palacio and Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sachar. Have a look at the website of Booktrust, the charity which supplied us with these great books. http://www.booktrust.org.uk/supporting-you/practitioners/our-programmes/bookbuzz/students/bookbuzz-books/ Once the students have read their book, they will be writing a review to tell us what they thought. We really look forward to reading them and discussing the books with the students.
