Reading!
Reading remains a priority here at NFS. We want all of our students to have a reading age which is at least equal to their chronological age so that they have the best possible opportunities in their exams and in their future lives and careers. Each day, the whole school reads for 15 minutes during DEAR. In addition, active reading is part of every lesson in every subject. Please encourage your child to read for pleasure at home and ask them about the books they are currently reading. If you would like any further information on how to support your child's reading, please contact Miss Britten.
