The Y8 Netballers Improve on Their Y7 Success....5 WINS FROM 5!
MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to the Y8 Netball team who won ALL FIVE of their games at yesterday’s central venue Netball team, at NUSA. We had a shaky warm-up, but the girls soon played the Netball we’ve been training hard towards since their first tournament, last year. The girls closely beat Arnold Hill (3-2), then Fernwood (2-1), followed by two brilliant victories against Carlton-Le-Willows (9-0), Hall Park (5-0) and then a final composed and convincing victory against Nottingham High School (5-2). Excellent individual performances including some outstanding shooting from Ruby Neal at GA and formidable centre court strength from our captain, Aimee East at C.
