East Midlands Handball Qualifier

U13's and U15's Take on East Midlands (Physical Education - 08/03/2022)

The U13 & U15 boys handball teams went to the University of Nottingham to compete in the East Midlands qualifier round of the annual England Handball Tournament. The U13's struggled to find their pace early on in the group stages, however in their final 2 games they managed to secure a win. Due to the competitiveness of the other teams they were unable to progress into the semi-final.

The U15's managed to win all but one of their group stage games leading to 3 wins and 1 draw. In the semi-finals we found a comfortable rhythm and won 4-0. The final was against a local school and it came down to extra time and then penalties, unfortunately we lost penalties by one goal and came second overall. The U15's have progressed onto the next round of the competition and we are awaiting details!
