Weekly Parent BulletinWeek of 7 July (Week A)

~ 7th July 2025 ~

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our Weekly Parent Bulletin. Please see below for our weekly update of all things NFS. You will find some lovely success stories and a few useful updates.

This week we had our Year 6 students join us for two successful Transition Days, ready for them joining us in September (See pictures below). They had a thoroughly enjoyable time and our student Transition Ambassadors were exceptional role models. Thanks to Mr Baines and Miss Phillips for their leadership here.

Today, we experienced the beauty that was NFS Culture Day 2025. I wish to pass on my heartfelt thanks to Mrs Inglis and Mrs Wilken for organising a sensational day packed with cultural learning, activities, music and food. All children were the very best version of themselves. We are all blessed to be part of this wonderful school community.

Thanks as always for your continued support of our school.

Yours faithfully,

Dr J Simpson

Message from Mrs Inglis and Mrs Wilken:

"We have just finished NFS culture day 2025 and it was a huge success. Thank you for your support with the event. The students looked amazing so thank you for your help with their outfits and the food donations were greatly appreciated. Food tasting was really lovely in the morning and we had lots of fun with various stalls in the afternoon. A special thank you to Village Catering who ran a food stall. Their profits are used to provide culturally appropriate emergency food parcels in the school holidays. Well done to all students who did a music performance and participated in our fashion parade and thank you to the members of our wider school community who came in to support the event. We will let you know next week how much we raised for charity.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful families who donated food for the tasting session, the students really enjoyed trying food from around the world! If your food was in a re-usable container/dish then you can collect these from reception at your earliest convenience from Monday."
