Weekly Parent BulletinWeek Commencing 27/11/2023

~ 24th November 2023 ~

Dear Parents and Carers,

I wish to welcome you to our new Weekly Parent Bulletin. Every Friday afternoon during the school term, you will receive the link to the Weekly Parent Bulletin. This will detail school events and reminders for the week, and half term, ahead.

Our school has taken this step to reduce the number of emails you receive from us, and allow you to view all relevant notices for the upcoming week(s) in one place.

We do hope you find this bulletin useful and, as always, please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions for this method of communication.

Kindest regards,

Dr J Simpson (She/Her)

Headteacher

  • Nottingham University are producing a documentary on knife crime and will be recording the delivery of the assembly.

In preparation for the end of this half term, the pastoral team are starting to prepare for the achievement assemblies. Whilst we celebrate many different achievements which happen in school, we would also like to recognise achievements which happen outside of school.

It has been a delight in previous assemblies to share the stories and photos of achievements which have happened outside of school. If you would like to share your child's achievement, please could you email your child's head of year by  4th December 2023 with the details of the achievement.

We are so pleased with how many students have been awarded REACH Superstars and, consequently, REACH Badges.

The students wear REACH badges with pride, demonstrating to all those in our community how they are developing their character.

Currently we are waiting on new stock of REACH badges, which in turn means that a number of students are owed badges.

We apologise for this delay, and want to reassure you that any owed badges will be issued as soon as we receive stock.

Please encourage your child to keep REACHing for Superstars.

Mr J Tomasevic - Assistant Headteacher

We have given students the following card to support them with their maths revision and wanted you to have the same so you can support them at home with the information.
