Our students are expected to wear their uniform with pride, and we will continue to set high standards in line with our Ethos of Excellence.

With regard to our uniform standards. I am aware that some students may use the holiday as an opportunity to get their nails or eyelashes done. I would ask that on their return to the building students are mindful of our school rules regarding piercings, false nails and false eyelashes.

In addition, to have as positive a start to the new term as possible, students should ensure that they have of the equipment needed to be ready to learn. Details of our equipment list can be found on our school website.

Dr Simpson - Head Teacher

All students are expected to bring an appropriate NFS kit to all PE/Games lessons. Compulsory items are as follows:

  • NFS Hoodie
  • NFS PE Polo
  • Royal Blue Football Socks (Outdoor Lessons) / White Ankle Socks (Indoor Lessons)
  • NFS or Plain, Black Sports Bottoms (with the choice of Sports Leggings, Tracksuit Bottoms (Cotton Jogging Bottoms are not permitted), Shorts or Skort) with a discreet logo
  • Shin Pads for Football / Hockey lessons

If a student does not have the complete PE kit for their lesson, they will be provided with clean garments to allow them to participate and then they will be issued with an R20.

Unless with serious ailment (e.g. fractured bones / post operation), all students must bring PE kit, even when excused, as there is always something they can do within the lesson (e.g. officiate / peer assess / coach).

A plastic bag is recommended for carrying dirty football boots.

All students with long hair will require a hair bobble to tie their hair up for PE/Games lessons, regardless of gender.

All stud earrings must be removed for PE lessons, even if the piercing is still healing.
